Q: I’m moving offices, how much time do I need to plan all this?
A: The amount of time it takes to relocate an office is entirely dependant on its size and network complexity. We successfully move business of all shapes and sizes, and understand the importance of speed and efficiency. We’ll work closely with you to tailor and agree the most suitable timetable.
Q: Can you handle the complete move, including packing and furniture removal?
A: We offer a complete package of removal services, including professional packing, furniture removal and secure storage. Everything will be taken care of.
Q: How much is all this going to cost?
A: You’ll receive a dedicated project manager who’ll meet with you, carry out an in-depth site survey and price everything to ensure total cost-efficiency. We operate an ‘open book’ policy when it comes to our clients, so you’ll know where every penny is going.
Q: The office premises we’re looking at is just a shell, do we need to think about cabling?
A: Our wealth of experience gives us the unique ability to work effectively with you, building managers and all third party suppliers. We can, therefore, ensure you have the cabling you need to operate as efficiently as possible.
Q: We need to get rid of some old computer monitors, can you recycle these?
A: Our ground-breaking relationship with environmentally friendly disposal specialist ‘IT Green’ means your equipment with be cleared securely and according to all compliance regulations.
Q: Our website is hosted on our own servers, does this mean it will go down during the move?
A: While your own server will need to be shut down for the move, we can arrange a temporary hosting solution to ensure minimal impact.
Q: Will we lose any emails during the move when our servers are down.
A: We can ensure you don’t lose vital correspondence and data by providing a separate ‘buffer’ location for your emails. They can then be easily retrieved after your move is completed.
Q: Our current comms/server equipment is a bit of mess, and our new office has no area for this. Can you help us with this?
A: Noise is a real problem (especially with servers), but we can advise on a number of quiet running rack enclosures and set up effective equipment management systems. We’ve implemented effective IT networks in all manner of locations.
